My Cashmere Chapter

When I started Marin Cashmere, I was following what I loved — maybe for the first time in a very long time. It didn’t happen all at once. It started with one sweater, one photo, one listing. One small decision to try. Then another. Then another.

Some days it still feels new. But every time I show up anyway — even when I’m unsure, even when I’m tired — I’m reminded that you don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. You just need to take the next step, and trust that clarity comes from doing.

I’m in midlife, and like a lot of women I know, I’ve found myself in a season of reinvention. After years in a busy tech career, I’m building something of my own — rooted in what I love.

The key to making things happen isn’t waiting for the perfect moment. Big goals can feel overwhelming when you look at the whole staircase at once, but momentum builds through small, consistent action. One listing. One post. One better decision. One step forward.

That’s how Marin Cashmere has grown — not perfectly, but persistently. Action creates clarity. And over time, those quiet steps forward add up to something real.

You don’t need to be fearless to begin. You just need to be willing. Willing to try. Willing to learn. Willing to keep showing up even when it feels messy or slow.

And if you’re in a season where you’re building something too — a fresh start, a new chapter, a dream that’s been waiting — I hope this is your reminder:

Keep going. Keep learning. Keep choosing what matters.
Lean In. 🤍 Elle
