After a long career in communications and brand storytelling, I created Marin Cashmere as part of my own second chapter—one with more creativity, flexibility, and room for the things I value most. Today, I divide my time between curating exceptional pieces, sharing the stories behind them, and enjoying the natural beauty and everyday rhythms of Marin.

From tech career to cashmere — the story of how a lifelong passion became a real business.
For most of my adult life, I worked in tech. Fast-paced, strategic, demanding — and honestly, I loved a lot of it. But through all of it, there was always cashmere.
Not as a trend. Not as a splurge. As a constant. That one sweater you reach for on a slow Sunday morning. The scarf that makes everything feel more pulled together. The piece you've had for fifteen years and somehow still love more than anything you bought last season.
When I was laid off, I had a choice about what came next. I could look for the next corporate role. Or I could lean into something I'd been quietly building on the side — a small, curated shop of preloved cashmere pieces I sourced, restored, and sold because I genuinely believed in them.
I chose cashmere.
What started as a side project became a real business. And Marin Cashmere — inspired by the coastal, unhurried life here in Northern California — became the thing I wake up excited to work on every day.
