I’ve always loved cashmere.
It started when I was in college — my mom took me to our local Lord & Taylor, and I came home with a gray cashmere turtleneck sweater. I still have it 30+ years later.
I loved how soft it was, and how special it felt — and now, it means even more. My mom is no longer with us, but that sweater lives on. It’s still part of my closet today, and it’s a reminder that the best pieces don’t just last… they hold memories, too.
That’s the thing about truly great cashmere: it doesn’t just wear well — it becomes part of your life.
Over time I became drawn to sustainable choices and natural fibers — pieces that feel good to wear, are made well, and can stay in a closet for years instead of a season.
That belief is what created Marin Cashmere.
